WebI just did FNBO’s pre approval for giggles. I’m pre approved for $10k with a 18.99 interest rate. Also, there’s a $200 sign up bonus. If this pre approval is anywhere near accurate, this would be the first time I was approved for a card with 5 digits and I’m tempted. Problem is, I’m at 4/24 and I have my eye on the Amazon chase card. WebThey do manual reviews if I'm not mistaken so if you freeze it then they won't have anything to look at. Most likely a denial albeit without the HP. Unless you have a specific reason to avoid HPs I'd just take the hit since it's so minor anyways.
